Mozart on Cello?

The transcriptions of these masterpieces serve as a brilliant complement to the classical cello concerto repertoire. They’re as enjoyable to play on the cello as they are on the violin and viola. See transcribed editions below. This recording was the premiere live performance of these works from 2012.

The Popper Manifesto

The Popper Manifesto was the first complete video recording of the 40 studies (Hohe Schule des Violoncello-Spiels, Op.73), accompanied by a do-it-yourself instruction manual. Filmed in his studio at Louisiana State University in 2003, these studies remain as used and relevant as they were one hundred years ago.
